Workplace Education Courses Winter 2024

Farm and Workforce Development is excited to offer four courses, in collaboration with the Workplace Education Initiative, to begin in January 2024.

These are 40 hours courses which take place over ten weeks via zoom. You are asked to commit to attending at least 80% of the classes, and fully participating in the class activities. There are no fees for these courses, and you will receive a certificate of completion if all the course requirements are met. Also no tests or exams!

The courses to be offered were selected from requests given by previous years participants and feedback from interested participants, in an attempt to capture topics that would be helpful to a number of our members. Courses require a minimum of 8 participants, so please share these opportunities!

Here are the four courses for the winter semester, with dates, times and instructors as well as a brief list of content topics to be covered.

Prior to the beginning of the course, the instructor will reach out for a chat about what you hope to learn from the course, to help tailor the information to your needs, and clarify the course content.

For more information, please contact Margaret by email at [email protected] or by phone at 902-893-2293.
