As of April 1st, 2024, the minimum wage in Nova Scotia has increased to $15.20 per hour.
The increase follows the formula previously recommended by the Minimum Wage Review Committee and accepted by the government. Under the Labour Standards Code, the Minimum Wage Review Committee is mandated to conduct an annual review of the minimum wage in Nova Scotia.
The last increase was on October 1st, 2023, which saw the minimum wage increase to $15 per hour.
